Maritza Schäfer
A strategic thinker and empathetic listener with a multidisciplinary approach to transformation and collaboration, Maritza has proven results identifying emergent opportunities, implementing new systems, and restructuring processes to drive organizational transformation to better reflect their strategic goals.
Besides developing their strategic plans, she has led organizational restructures at the Wilderness Society in Australia (to ensure their structure could deliver on their community organizing ambitions), Greenpeace International (to align all national offices behind the international strategy), and brought in social network analysis as a tool for organizational development to Tides Foundation as early as 2007.
Maritza was born and raised in Chile and also holds US and Australian passports.
