Belinda Tan, M.D., PhD

Dr. Belinda Tan is a physician-scientist and technology entrepreneur. She is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of People Science, a transformative human research platform that is bridging the evidence gap in Complementary and Integrative Medicine, Food-As-Medicine, Health and Wellness. The People Science software tool Chloe empowers researchers and individuals through decentralized clinical research, enabling data management from experimental to pragmatic and real-world study designs. Previously, she co-founded the pioneering global decentralized clinical trials leader Science 37, a technology platform that transformed the drug development ecosystem. She is a member of the The Lundquist Institute and has served as an investigator in FDA registrational trials as well as investigator-initiated studies in dermatology. She is a continuing student of life, a wife, mother, daughter, and sister. After many years in the apprenticeship of being an entrepreneur, she has learned that it is all about the people! She is board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology, and earned her PhD studying human innate immunity. In between her professional endeavors, she indulges in simple local activities with her beloved family and community in Venice Beach.
