Bertrand Graz, MD, MPH
Bertrand Graz, Md, MPH (medical doctor and specialist in public health/international health) came to clinical research on medicinal and food plants after several years of clinical work in tropical countries. There he found that many patients were using local and traditional healthcare and wanted to know more about it.
Thanks to population surveys and clinical trials carried out with students and their professors in several countries, (China, Laos, Mauritania, Mali, Sebegal, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palau, Switzerland and Greece) Bertrand Graz has joined the small group of researchers who have helped to reveal that many plants with ancestral uses, when compared with synthetic medicines, are just as safe and effective - and sometimes even more so.
